Still hopeful with low SAT score?

<p>Will my low SAT score hinder my chances of getting into an elite college/top LAC?</p>

<p>Info: White male, live in GA, moved 7 times, 2nd in college, 200K+ income... not sure what is considered relavent</p>

<p>SAT: 2000 - 710 Math, 690 Writing, 600 Reading</p>

<p>SAT II: Awaiting results (available tomorrow)</p>

<p>GPA: 4.2 > Taking 3 AP's currently (with 4 following semester), with A's in all 3, so this should rise</p>

<p>AP Course load: 15 AP's by graduation</p>

<p>Rank: Top 8%</p>

<p>EC: Senior Class VP (4 Years SGA)
Spanish Club President & Founder - 2 Years
Math Team Captain - 3 Years participation
National Honor Society Treasurer - 3 Years participation
Shop with a Hawk committee Chair - 2 years (raises money for underprivileged children during holidays)
Club Baseball - 3 years
Work at local yogurt shop - 2 years
Youth soccer referee - 1 year
Internship at Software company in Philadelphia past summer
School TV editor-in-chief - 3 years participation
Tutor - 30+ hours of tutoring a year
Community Service - Somewhere over 150+ hours</p>

<p>Essay: Relatively good writer, so college essays shouldn't be too challenging</p>

<p>Recs: Should be very strong</p>

<p>Major: Undecided, but Business inclination </p>

Interested in applying to: Davidson, Wake, Vandy, WUSTL, Rice, Dartmouth, UPenn, Richmond, Sewanee, and Possibly a UC or USC</p>
