Hi

If I submitted FASFA now , will i have any chance to get ( federal pell grant )
for the year 2013-2014

The college say that it have established a priority deadline as march 2013 , which had passed and mention that late applications received after that will be processed but will have very limited options ..

does that mean if i am eligible to get pell grant , will i be denied due to late submission

or they are likely to speak about other options , state grants / college scholarships not the fedeal grant ??

Thanks

The Pell Grant is a federally funded entitlement grant. This means that IF you are eligible, you will receive it for the upcoming school year. You would also be eligible to receive Direct Loans as well.

The deadlines for the school and state need based aid have likely passed. But the deadline for submitting for the Pell for the upcoming school year has not.

Yes, if your EFC is below $5081, you could get the min of $582 to max of $5645 Pell grant. Of course, the lower EFC, the higher Pell grant you will get.
