still missing materials for EA app?

<p>I submitted an EA app in October, and MyMIT shows that everything is fine and dandy except for my Teacher Evaluation A, which was mailed in late October. When Matt McGann blogged on Nov. 21, 2008 that all EA mail had been processed and that all missing materials should be resent via fax, I got my teacher to fax the rec again this Monday. </p>

<p>I'm going to assume that fax should be pretty fast - but MyMIT still shows "Not Processed". Any idea what the holdup might be? Not trying to rush anyone along here, just want some assurance as to what's happening (or not happening)...</p>

<p>it's almost Thanksgiving... MIT, I believe, is closed today and tomorrow, so you may want to/have to wait a while before contacting them :/</p>

<p>If it were me, I'd give MIT a call on Monday if it's still showing up as not processed.</p>

<p>My opinion is that the rec is probably there and filed in your folder, it just hasn't been updated on your tracker. But it's good to make sure that's actually true.</p>

<p>I had something missing as well and had to have it faxed; it DID show up on the tracker the same day they faxed it. So if I were you, I'd call Monday.</p>

<p>Definitely check- one of my teacher recs last year never actually made it to MIT, so we had to fax it in in late November.</p>

<p>Don't panic (it really won't affect your admissions decision), but make sure it gets in.</p>
