Still No Confirmation Letter

I still have not gotten a confirmation letter from GW, and so I have no way to check my application status. Is anyone else in this situation? What should I do?

call the admissions office asap

Just got my confirmation email. Hope this helps

i havn’t gotten mine yet either…

Same I have had NO communication w/ gw. Do u think I should call/email? I assumed the wait was bc of the large pool but now I’m not sure anymore

Sent from my Droid using CC App

If you applied ED II and have not received your confirmation letter, you should definitely call. Decisions are being released.

i applied RD…

My son received an email after he submitted his application with info about how to access their online status check. If you haven’t received that email I would call the admissions office.

If you applied RD then you won’t hear back till beg of April or end of March

My son has not heard anything either, and he applied RD. No email or postcard. This is the only school that he’s had no information from, private or public.

^^^^^ same.

I don’t want to come off mad or upset here, but I am very surprised/disappointed at GW’s ability to keep in contact with the applicant. All my other schools have been very prompt in their communication with me. but wtv, I’m still crossing my fingers for gw. I love the school! haha

Did you call the admissions office?

the same thing happened to me - I emailed them last night and got a really nice reply this morning telling me that my application was complete and thanking me for checking in

I just pulled out my son’s regular decision admissions packet from last spring. The letters were dated March 25, 2010. I recall not hearing anything from GW before then, so my son was trying not to get his hopes up. When he received his admissions packet, he couldn’t have been more pleased. He was offered a substantial 4-year scholarship and admission to the honors program. He loves GW and is doing very well academically. So hang in there!
