My daughter is in a panic. Went to College Board site today and they now say Dec 31st is new date to post Dec scores for some kids, including her. Is there any way to contact these guys and get some personal attention?Applications are due on 31st....Thanks for your response

Apps from applicants may be due by 12/31, but colleges continue to collect things to go into your file after that date. And it takes a while to collate the admissions files into packets that will go to the adreps. Just hang on. . .

We had the same delay in October. We did call and filed a formal complaint...which actually did NOTHING. Bottom line is that DD received her scores in the mail about the same time as everyone else. She just couldn't get her scores online early...like 85% of the students who took the test. It ended up just fine. Honestly, I think the colleges KNOW how incompetent and inefficient the College Board can be and probably expect some delays. Of course that's MY opinion about the College Board regarding their incompetencies. BUT I have paid them a fortune in rushed scores due to their little snafus. Honestly, I can hardly wait until we don't have to deal with them anymore.

Bottom line...if the college says they will accept the December scores, they WILL accept them whenever they arrive.

Thank you both for your updates. Sounds like we have little recourse. Unfortunately, applications will have to be submitted without the data---I'm sure it won't help in this highly competitive environment. However, I certainly will add my own formal complaint on Monday. As recently as midnight last night, the web site claimed that remaining scores would be posted today. You can imagine the toll it takes on an already nervous kid.

Actually...it won't matter at all. If the college says they will accept the December SAT, you don't need to worry about when they get that score (unless they lose the scores or something like that...). The colleges will NOT penalize you or put you at the "bottom of the pile" because your SAT scores from the Dec administration are not yet available. It does NOT matter...even in this competitive environment. We went through very similar angst in October...deadline was November 1 and on November 8, DD still had not seen her scores online. It didn't matter one bit. She was accepted EA at the school with the November 1 deadline.

Very comforting! Thanks so much for sharing your experience.
