Still NO Decision

Just received snail mail. We live in Westchester County. Nothing from Binghamton today. I guess the notification will be through email.

decisions are on the website. My son has Fall Wait List - Spring Offer

Fall Wait List - Spring Offer

status checker changed to “Fall wait list - Spring Offer”

Good luck to all of you. I’m surprised but I also understand it’s not a perfect process.

D got to the point that she didn’t want to go to Binghamton so this actually makes her decision easier. :)

Same here. Fall Waitlist - Spring Offer.

same news here: fall waitlist spring offer

Just wondering this…could you send in your deposit to hold your spot for the Spring 2014 in the event your Fall 2013 choice doesn’t turn out well and maybe you want to transfer?

It still says Fall 2013 under the admission term. Also, I haven’t gotten an email yet. What does this mean? Is there another way to check?

Please respond. Thanks!

stupidhead - you need to look under ‘admission status’ and ‘decision’. the admission term is just what you are applying to.

StupidH,
ours looks like this:
Application Data
Admission Term: Fall 2013
Admission Type: FR Early Decision no prev coll c
Application Preference: 1
Application Status: Decision Made
Decision: Fall Wait List - Spring offer

If you don’t see a decision, I think it would be a good idea to call the admissions office.

Admission Term: Fall 2013
Admission Type: FR EOP prev coll cred
Application Preference: Not entered
Application Status: Decision Made
Decision: Accepted. Congratulations!

Sweet.

Congratulations Ventura…good for you!

We got the binghamton advantage program?!! Live on campus but go to Broome for 2 years…would rather have had spring offer

I still haven’t gotten an email from Binghamton about my decision. Is this weird?

never mind…got the email 5 minutes later. rejected, oh well. good luck to everyone else!

Denied… soo depressed… wasted my whole high school career, oh well congrats to those who did get accepted!

Snoop1, you did NOT waste your hs career. It might not seem like it right now, but things usually work out for the best. What are the other options you’re looking at?!!

Rejected as of 11 am yesterday morning, then woke up to see that my friend had been accepted with virtually the same stats as me, but less ECs. Although I may sound it, I’m not bitter. I’m actually kind of glad – it gives me closure knowing that this whole process is done and over with. I can finally start looking forward to next year. Good luck to everyone making some tough decisions in the near future. Remember, as other posters have said, it’s not where you start the game, but how you finish it.

The people that got accepted and rejected what were your SATs or ACTs and GPA?

I was rejected, and had a 3.7 GPA and a 28 ACT.

I think my ACT was a little too low, and also I applied directly to the School of Management, which is one of the more competitive schools to get into. But I wouldn’t have wanted to go to any of its other schools anyway, so whatever…
