<p>Hey everyone, I'm new here and I'm having problems with my financial aid. I am graduating from a community college here in FL ( Santa Fe College) in a couple of weeks. Anyways I applied to a couple of universities and have been accepted. I'm choosing to go to USF because I really like the school and the city of Tampa. But the problem is that I have yet to receive my financial aid package from here. I got my financial aid package from the other schools last month, but none from USF. The only thing it says is that I received the Bright Futures Scholarship, but no Pell Grant or even Loans. Does anyone know when they will send out financial aid package for Transfer Students? Oh, by the way my EFC is 0.</p>
<p>Schools do incoming frosh’s FA pkgs first. Yours will be coming. We don’t know when, you’ll have to ask the school.</p>
<p>With a 0 EFC, you’ll get a $5550 Pell Grant and some loans.</p>
<p>I did and they said they are still working on it and I should receive it by this week. I called again a couple days later and they told me that I should receive it by the beginning of May. How am I supposed to make a decision if its going to take that long???</p>
<p>Since you are a transfer student, you don’t have to make a decision by May 1st. Just wait for financial package to arrive at the beginning of May and then make your decision.</p>
