Still no reply?

Good evening everyone
I applied to SEBS and SAS as a transfer for the spring 2018 semester the day they put up the application. They marked all the materials received by 09/21/2017 because they rolled over my HS transcript from my previous attempt at application. The portal has not been updated since then, and it has been nearly two months since I applied. Other people have been hearing back in as little as ten days, thus giving them an earlier start on financial aid and housing related things–things I would love to sort out, given that I am transferring in 3 months or so. Normally I would not care about this, but they have rejected me before and my old application is on file, so what if they still don’t think I am worthy of admission? I have also been admitted to another school that I would love to attend; financial aid related stuff and other very important paper work is still due. This, in addition to acceptance fees must be paid. I would normally be okay with just paying them before hearing back, but I do not just have money to throw around, many people do not. I had everything in on time and did all that was asked of me in a timely manner, so what gives? I apologize if I sound whiney, but it just feels as if they have tossed my application to the side and have not even deemed it important enough to review. I just want to move on with my life already; Rutgers is also my top choice, so this stings. Is there anything I can do at all at this point?

@YesPolyglotGal can you reach out via phone to your admissions representative? If you don’t have a contact person I’d just call the admissions office directly at this point. If this is for spring admissions I’d think it’s important to know asap…I’m so sorry you’re going through this. Please keep us updated.

Hey I actually heard back on November 3rd. Thankfully I got in!!!

Congratulations @YesPolyglotGal !!!
