I am also in the same boat only for Bio (another impacted major) My status was changed to complete as well. I hope they tell us one way or another, I do not play the waiting game well.

update: called admissions today after class and was told (very kindly) that ‘complete’ only means your file is ready for review… might take as long as May for impacted.

obviously I don’t playing the waiting game well either. gah!;)

My status was changed to admitted yesterday for Kinesiology (impacted), so there is hope for you all!

@Sfpsyc what the heck, we have to file the intent to enroll for our backup plans by may… and congrats @coronado1218

@chinaboi415 It’s my understanding you’ll have three weeks from admittance to file intent for those who are notified late. Just hoping I hear from SFSU before CSUEB’s June 1 intent date. stressful!

@chinaboi415 Yes, I’ve also talk to SFSU admission representative at my CC and she says for impacted majors we should expect late April to early May for decision. I will just make a deposit and sign my intent to roll at another school just in case SFSU denies me.

Welcome to the Registrar's Office | Registrar's Office; Look at the time frame. “Students who are admitted after May 1 must accept their admission offer within two weeks after their admission date.”

On a side note, I and all my other friends are really dislike the lack of responsiveness from SFSU administrations. Yes, the admission lady apologized that the school is adopting a new system for admissions and that’s the reason why things move so slow. But excuses like that just make people think your school is plain unprofessional.

@teemoo I was told the same… new database this year, but yeah, I agree it’s a little concerning. I’d still be thrilled to get in though. It’s just so darn close to me.

My status was just recently changed to ‘complete’ as well. Still no actual decision has been made. I had in all of my required documents months ago, and am a local applicant… oy vey. I think they should change the Intend to Enroll date to June 1st if they intend to take this long with admissions decisions.

CSUEB is my other choice as well, at least they are giving us until June 1. How come some impacted majors are hearing faster than others?

@edancer I assume it depends on when each major finalizes their selections. Maybe it’s faster for those with less applicants to review. not sure tho.

I’ve seen instagram posts people getting emails around 10pm.!

@SFpsyc I checked in late-May, after I had already submitted my SIR to another school. I thought it was weird that I didn’t hear from them AT ALL which is why i finally checked, so I can’t say when the decision was actually posted.

To add on to this, I applied again this year for Nutrition which is also an impacted major. My status also just says “complete”.

think I might go mad by late may :((

Same here…The wait is slowly corroding my soul. The fact that I’m checking SF gateway multiple times a day drives me crazy. I’m switching to a better plan, check portal before bed…

Yes! Finally I find a thread talking about this. My boyfriend and I have still not heard a decision from SFSU but our application status shows the green circle meaning it is complete. And they have offered financial aid… seems backwards to me!

the green circle mocks us all;)

Best of luck to you all and hopefully see you guys on campus!

my friend got acceptance mail this afternoon from sfsu

Any updates @SFpsyc ?

@coronado1218 nope… dead air :-<
