Still undecided.

I plan to major in Biology (pre med) and I still can't figure out which school is going to be right for me, maximizing my chances to get into a good medical school. Can anyone convince me why Notre Dame is better than NYU academically (for science)? Is Notre Dame worth giving up 8,000/year to attend NYU?

nyu is huge. i don't know much about nyu, but my visit to notre dame was pretty good. it seems like the science department was strong, and they were building yet another science building opening next spring, i believe.. the school itself is very campus-oriented whereas nyu is probably more city life.

i'm choosing between northwestern, notre dame, and occidental.. all very different from each other.

I'm choosing between ND and Dartmouth in much the same areas. I just visited both schools this last week, and I am more torn than ever. Right now, Dartmouth is winning by default, due to not yet having received a revised financial aid package from Notre Dame.

im between Notre Dame and Swarthmore.. polar opposites.. somebody HELP ME>>>>> AHHHHHHHHH

D is torn between ND and Bowdoin. She feels both are great for her for different reasons. There isn't a wrong choice. The hard thing is deciding which one to give up.

FYI: Northwestern's admit rate for med schools is in the 80+% (someone said 88% on this board). National average is 50+%
