<p>I would not recommend it. In fact, no.</p>
<p>To make things fair, they only want material about stuff that happened before the deadline. If they let you add to your ECs, then they’d have to let anyone do so. I’ve done some things I’ve been proud of after I applied, but I don’t intend on sending that info in.</p>

<p>If you do something significant after you apply, write a one-page memo and send it via U.S. mail to the college. A new award, a new activity, even a new job. This might help you. It can’t hurt you. They will drop the one-page memo into your folder and, if they by chance haven’t gotten to your folder yet, it might help you. As I said, it can’t hurt.</p>
<p>That’s good advice, Midwestmom, but the reason I said what I said is because it is my understanding that the University of Washington does not accept any revisions or additions to the application file after the deadline (with the exception of scores, transcripts, etc.)</p>
