<p>Livedifferent, I agree with you. This isn’t close to “mid-March.” While I’m sure UofR had record applications to handle like all the other schools, I’m disappointed that hey can let some of the letters go out this late, ESPECIALLY if it’s a rejection. Those should go out first because that way people can move on with their lives. And I’ve seen a lot of acceptances on the Stats site, so I’m guessing my s’s letter will be a thin one.</p>
<p>I just got my acceptance today. The package was post-marked 3/27 (past mid-march).. and I also got a scholarship so letters coming in this late are definitely not all rejections. Good luck everyone!</p>

<p>i broke down and called admissions just now. They confirmed that my son’s application is “complete” and that some letters are going out as late as the end of this week. So to me that means a rejection. Her voice didn’t sound encouraging at all.</p>
<p>So, as I posted elsewhere, it’s time to get on board with the colleges where he was offered a place and offered $$$-- in the end, he will be happy at one of them!</p>
<p>Mail has come and nothing from UofR as I suspected.</p>
<p>Me neither.</p>

<p>I felt that I had a good chance at U of R and now I’m so scared…I really love the school, showed a lot of interest and had a pretty good transcript, tons of extra curriculars…</p>
<p>This day has not been good at all. 2 rejections and this one still pending…</p>
<p>Does anyone still believe that acceptances are still coming? Or has everyone decided that only rejections are left :(:(??</p>
<p>Dunno. I just get a feeling rejections are all what’s left.</p>
<p>I’m almost positive there’s only rejections left. The admissions office initially said they would send out three waves and there have already been three sent out with no one posting a rejection. Everyone I have spoken to who applied there was either already accepted or someone who I’d expect to get rejected. Also, if you find the posts from last year, its clear that everyone who was accepted was notified in 1 of 3 waves.</p>

<p>It doesn’t make sense that they would keep some people waiting for an acceptance or a rejection. It must all be waitlists left.</p>
<p>this is a nice way of doing college admissions, send out all the acceptances first and then just let the rest of the applicants assume they got rejected</p>
<p>My mother called admissions today…inquired as of whether or not there are only rejections and waitlists left…they said that there are still plenty of acceptances left to be mailed:)
They said they do not save only rejections for last.</p>
<p>Take it for what it’s worth, but it gave me some hope!! :)</p>
