Anybody still left hanging with no button? My theory is that when the spreadsheet is gone, they have evaluated your app. And button = acceptance or rejection, because your decision is definite and ready to tell you, and lack thereof = deferral, because they haven’t made a REAL decision yet.

Well, I doubt it, given that a ton of people here already have the button...

Well a ton of people are great applicants and probably deserve to get in!

Well, such is life. If everyone who 'deserved' to get in was actually admitted, we'd have to get a new lecture hall to have Neuro 1 and Modern Architecture lectures in, and that kind of stuff is expensive :-P

Very well, said my friend.

My spreadsheet disappeared after they received all my application materials. And I had my button even before that...

I'm assuming the spreadsheets have all disappeared because they have finally stopped processing new documents for the Early Decision class. Because, hey, deferred kids still have a decision.

bethesda2007, are you trying to say that those whose spreadsheets dissappeared have been accepted?

No. I'm saying that they have everyone's documents have arrived and they no longer need that spreadsheet confirmation. I wish that it meant we were accepted!

I just got the button. Now I wish I hadn't seen it because I am just AGONIZING over the fact that they have possibly sealed my fate.
