Still waiting to hear

Anyone else still waiting to hear? We expected our son to have trouble getting into his preferred major but he listed an arts and science major as a second choice. His SATs are way above SU's average with a rigorous curriculum and decent grades. He is also a legacy. Just wondering about the credentials of others who have not heard yet. Good luck.

Except for the legacy, same for my son…already accepted at University of Miami, American, University of georgia, Ithaca and Rutgers…assume they send e-mails out in waves…

Hey there, miserablecur. My daughter is in the same boat. Her GPA and SAT scores are above the averages for Syracuse – but she has not heard yet, either. I am very happy for the people that have gotten in, but am definitely hoping that there is another wave of notifications coming.

I am also in the same boat as everyone on this thread. My SAT scores are above the average and so is my GPA. I have yet to receive an email! Good luck to everyone still waiting

Still waiting here.

yep i’m still waiting also, will they continue to come out all weekend?

Me too! I haven’t received an email as it pertains to my application decidion :frowning: Hopefully this weekend.

Still waiting! My stats aren’t super impressive, but decent! I am not anticipating on getting into Newhouse, as it is very competitive but I also put down Whitman and CAS as my 2nd and 3rd choices. Hopefully the decisions will still roll out over the weekend!

Just re-read the SU web site. It says an applicant will be considered for their second and third choices on a space available basis. Not sure what that means or how it is done. Anyone know?
