I submitted my UCF application through Common App on January 3rd and they recieved my transcript separately through Parchment on January 8th. It’s been two weeks and my application status still says “Waiting for official transcript”.
Will this affect my eligibility for the Top 10 Knights program?
@D1ngus I don’t know how it affects the program, but have your gc follow up with them. My son had same issue for almost 2 months. The hs had submitted them on 10/2 and they were still showing “waiting” through late Nov.
According to the gc, they have been having processing issues.
Please, also confirm that they have your residency information. Yet, another issue we experienced this past week. There was no email or notification anywhere stating UCF did not have the info. We found out when my son emailed asking when he would hear about scholarship information. That’s when he was informed the residency info was still pending. Mind you, we are pretty sure we submitted all that months ago.
Point is, follow up asap.
Thanks @cardinal2020mom I just sent UCF an email and I plan to touch base with my guidance counselor tomorrow. Did your son submit through Common App as well?
@D1ngus Yes, he did.
At a different school, but we had repeated problems with submitting documents. Finally turned out they had two files for my daughter, with two student numbers. Most of the stuff was going to the ‘wrong’ file and they kept fixing things one document at a time, so the problem happened every time a new document arrived. I finally figured it out after she was prevented from registering for 2nd semester because they did not have a final hs transcript - even though THREE had been sent.
I’ve been waiting for months for them to process my transcript. The first time around they never got it apparently, but now they have it and haven’t processed it yet…
Update
They got my transcript and now I’m just waiting for an admission decision.
