<p>Should we be worried...is it a bad sign that nothing has been posted? Can anyone relate?</p>
<p>From what I can see, it is possible that the site hasn’t been fully updated or that she is waitlisted. But being waitlisted means she has a very good chance of getting in, her stats are pretty good.</p>

<p>I emailed admissions and was told the Hen is updated. We are still waiting but don’t really feel very hopeful.</p>
<p>I just got off the phone with admissions and they told me all letters were sent Monday good or bad news. She said the portal was having tech problems and not to rely on it to change. I guess we just have to wait for the mail, unfortunately. I’m just wondering if all of this is a bad sign</p>
<p>A parent on this forum who has experience with UDel said that they do not post rejections/waitlists on Blue Hen, only acceptances. Many of the accepted students will not take a spot so anyone who is waitlisted has a great chance to eventually get in if they choose to wait.</p>
<p>Does anyone know if ALL acceptances were posted yesterday, or just some? For a school that places such an emphasis on “all decisions will be mailed to you”, this is ridiculous! I know that last year, they posted some acceptances online, and a small number turned out to be incorrect-not so small if your child was one of those impacted. Here’s the link to the article

<p>Just got my son’s Congradulations packet in the mail today – however the portal is not updated. Delware even sent the financial aid package and his scholarship info. I think they must be having problems with their computers.</p>

<p>The portal must have updated this AM - my D had a congratulatory message inviting her to join the UDel class of 2016. Everything on the page updated, admitted student day invitation, and her new list of tasks from financial aid to housing. Though happy to have gotten in, she ended up committing to Penn State U Park last month. UDel was up there on her list, but after visiting PSU again for accepted student day, that sealed the deal. She was very torn as both are great schools… I wish Delaware would send out their acceptances earlier - if even a month - she felt so pressured to make a decision due to housing preferences at Penn State. Good luck to all of you who are still waiting & good luck at UDel if that is where you ultimately end up.</p>
<p>^^you do understand that nothing is completely binding until May 1 st? Many students send deposits to other schools to get housing preference prior to all acceptances being received…</p>
<p>Rodney - yes, we realize that and all we really lose is our deposit at Penn State,and at first that’s why we sent in the deposit and accepted the housing. But I think the more she thought things through and weighed her options, Happy Valley is where her heart is.</p>
<p>@ proudmom - thanks for taking the time to post this! We have received nothing in the mail today and my daughter’s portal has not changed. We think she is a solid candidate, so were upset to see everyone else’s portals changing. This gives us hope! We chatted with admissions and asked if rejected folks’ portals were not updated and they just said ‘wait for the US mail’. Has anyone else received a decision in the mail and the portal has not been updated? Thanks!!</p>
<p>Dianejean, in same boat as you, portal is not updated and no mail…probably declined or waitlisted…</p>
<p>I don’t know if this will help- it helped me- they only update the website once overnight. Admissions told me this, thank god, because between me and my daughter, we’re probably the ones that screwed up the site!!!</p>
<p>We are 40 miles from the campus and nothing arrived today. Now we have a mail person who works a little harder some days than others and this was a very light day. DS is not interested enough to log in, so I probably should stop worrying. I am also a bit concerned about how the costs have jumped the last few years. It is the most expensive school DS applied to and we will be full pay.</p>
<p>We r still waiting to hear too. Live in Maryland. Proud mom. Did ur son have anything on portal saying he was admitted or just got the letter?</p>
<p>I decided to call admissions directly and asked if the rejected or waitlisted kids’ portals were being updated after the accepted students. She seemed sincere and said no, because she had received calls today from kids that found out that they were denied via the portal. She also said there was no order etc. for the status updates. She said do not assume that you are not in just because your portal hasn’t changed. Just wanted to share that with all. Best of luck to everyone!!</p>

<p>We are in NY and we got the yellow envelope in the mail today.</p>
