I filled out my college application in late January and it has been "Complete and Ready For Review" for just about six weeks now. How much longer should i wait before i start making a fuss about this?

hey dude....a lot of us are in the same boat as you. it sucks i know. i'm pulling my hair out waiting for those stupid letters. but there are sooo many applicants and i guess i understand that it takes a while to review all of them. suggestion: take your mind off of it. goes by a lot faster that way.

I just think that it is weird that i got my first response after 10 days and now i am approaching 60 days for this school and i still haven't heard anything. It seems like the longer the wait, the less chance that i have. It would be nice to know where i will be in a few months.

What college?

"What college?"

University of Illinois at Chicago. Not exactly a hard school to get into, by anyone's standards. Yet at this point, i feel like i have no chance of getting in, just because i think that there will be no room left in the program that i want.

Another semester at community college, lucky me.

Six weeks is nothing.

Most people have to wait MONTHS before getting a decision. I had to wait 10-12 weeks for a decision. Drove me crazy waiting, but what can you do.
