Are there others still waiting on decisions. My D is so nervous. Not knowing has been torture. Please respond.

Im still waiting.. but for monday to finally roll around. I know a bunch of my friends have the same issue as me and since i have two sisters that already go to UF, they said they would go in person and see if they can find out what went wrong on monday morning.. i really doubt its an issue of being a 'fence' kid.. cause im positive my stats are a lot better than most people.. at this point though, just chill and wait for monday to call

I'm still waiting, and I'm nervous as well. UF is my top choice and I will attend there over any other school I've applied to, but I've also started to really love the schools I've already been admitted to. I find it's easier, for me at least, so that if I do get rejected I'd still love to attend another school on my list.

Good luck! :)

Melissa,

You have a great attitude. I think for my D it's the not knowing that is hard. If she were accepted great. If not, she has gotten acceptance at other schools she likes.

I was wondering what was on everyones status page. My D's shows that they received application, fee, SAT scores, ACT scores. It shows nothing about transcripts though.

I hope you all find out soon.

Good Luck!

Something went wrong with the either the collegeboard or the admission office because it says it did not receive my SAT score. Florida mom this is what UF responded when i sent the office an email:

Unfortunately we are unable to make a decision on your application at
this time. We are in receipt of an ACT score from 4/07, however, the
writing section was not included in the test. Only ACT scores that
include the writing section can be used in admissions. We are unable
to
render a decision on your application until we receive an ACT score
w/writing or a SAT score. Please let me know if you have any further
questions or concerns.

Sincerely,

For my son, it doesn't even have a Y/N table showing for Test Scores. We had no idea that they still didn't have his SAT scores. I am afraid that this is the case, as he didn't have his SSN attached to his SAT. Why it matters, I do not know. The other universities had no problem receiving the scores. Apparently UF only does things by SSN.

Floridamomx3,

I really don't think they could not have gotten it. If the name, address, and all other information matches. They have to have a way of verifying information without a SS#.

Florida mom

exactly, when i went on collegeboard to check, it says " requests pending" for uf and only for uf, the other universities are fine

Floridamomx3,

My Ds page also did not even have a table for transcripts.

I hope we can all figure this out on Monday.

Florida mom

All, my daughter's status has not changed either and now I'm worried something is wrong with her application.. please look over and let me know if you see something wrong.. looks complete to me..

My daughter is still waiting.. no update to her status page.. here is what it says.. Can anyone see something missing? It looks complete to me.

The Office of Admissions has completed a preliminary review of your application for admission.

Please look at the tables below to determine whether your application file is complete. Missing materials can delay your admission notification. If you have recently sent these materials, please allow processing time, especially around application deadlines; materials sent by regular mail take a minimum of two-to-three weeks' processing time. Check your application status as often as you need to verify receipt of materials.

I think ur daughter is having the same situation as me. It is the SAT scores that have not been sent

Have any of you applied to any other state schools? The state university system shares statistics, so if you applied to any of them, UF would have gotten all of your scores from the other universities.

yes, i applied to FSU and USF, they all got my scores and i got in

thanks strange6201 and dvm - my daughter was accepted to both UCF and FSU in the Honors college, full scholarships for both..

stranger6201, do you see something missing from her application re SAT scores? The collegeboard.com website said they have been sent. Thanks for your help.

i have the same exact situation as your daughter, the collegeboard confirms that it did send my SAT scores to UF, but on the application status for UF my SAT score is not there

stranger6201, sorry to be so detailed, but is the actual score supposed to be on the Status page? Here's my d's, it looks okay to me. Do you see something I'm missing? thanks again

The actual score didn't appear on my status screen.

If you log into ISIS then My Record (on the left) then Test Scores, it'll show your actual scores they have received.
