<p>Geez, I'm getting worried too. We're going to get some very bad housing if we get accepted. :(</p>
<p>my daughter turned in her application at the end of OCTOBER!!!! she was deferred from Early Notification to Regular. so this wait is really, really long!!!
nothing in the mail today......</p>
<p>I was deferred as well. I called admissions and whenever you sent in your updated transcript is when your RD application was completed. They then said it will be roughly 4-6 weeks after that. And never later than April 15th.</p>
<p>And as for getting bad housing...I wouldn't really worry. In order to sign up for housing you have to make a $400 non-refundable payment. And most people don't make their final decision until late April...so I'm sure you'll be fine.</p>

<p>what does the package look like? and my girlfriend goes to LMU and she had said that LMU DOES reject people, whereas I had seen a post elsewhere on this website saying they only waitlisted...which is it?</p>

<p>i havent heard anything back yet. i didn't know they did email! and i sent my app in during january...</p>
<p>one of my friends didn't hear back very quickly either so she called in, and turns out they lost her app! apparently if they lost your app, you automatically get in. call and ask!</p>
<p>prezpreston, of course LMU rejects people. They can't accept everybody! Some do get waitlisted, but check the old posts right here on cc, you will see that some are accepted, some are waitlisted and some are rejected. Why would LMU be any different from any other university?</p>
<p>I had read someones post on here where they had said that LMU didn't reject anyone. I found that hard to believe so I was just asking for some clarification. My girlfriend said as much as well since she goes there but thanks for clearing that up for me!</p>
<p>I'm calling admissions right now to ask if I can send in another letter of recc. in addendum. Yikes!</p>

<p>Wow, I sent my application around the end of December/beginning of January. I haven't heard back yet from LMU or SCU. Checked the mail today and still... Nothing. Anyone else fearing that their application was lost or something?</p>
