Hi, I applied here E.D. on Oct. 30th...when should I expect to hear my admissions decision? The website says they will notify me BY Dec. 15...doesn't that mean that Dec. 15 is the latest day I will find out?

“Usually” that is the last date, but I wouldn’t think you would hear before Dec. 1st at least. I know EA’s are usually closer to the date, I don’t have much experience with ED.
Both my twins’s applied EA and one really loves Stonehill. What made you apply ED?

Stonehill is around 40 minutes away from my hometown, which is extremely important to me, and I’ve been in love with the school since I was a freshman in high school…there isn’t a school that’s going to make me dislike Stonehill, you know? Of course I have other schools but it’s my number one :)

Thanks for the answer, the anticipation is really killing me. I have good SAT’s and an okay GPA, lots of volunteer/work experience, honor societies, ect…

distinydot - Let us know when you hear. Stonehill is a reach school for my Son. He did not apply EA because he is hoping to improve his SATs. I know that Stonehill is SAT optional but his average is not great. Good luck to you. What is your major?

One of my daughter’s loved it more than the other, but going to a Catholic school was important to her. She loved the pretty campus, thought the dorms were nice (although the outside was “ehh”) she loved the close interaction with professors, the strong business department, the internships, and especially the study abroad opportunities and the aid that is included!
She said the church was too modern, but it’s a new school and can’t compete with large gothic church’s like Fordham has. What is important, is what you do there, not the looks.
I had a double-take when I saw the new admissions director, she was at Drew when my son started and will definitely try get Stonehill more recognition.

For me, it wasn’t so much the aesthetics … call me strange but large gothic churches scare me a bit, and I thought the rolling green hills were beautiful.

I’ve been emailing Eric Nichols, the admissions counselor for my region, and he’s been great to put up with all my prying questions and concerns in the admissions process. The staff was nice and the students do seem really happy there.

I will have them check who their counselor is, emailing admissioins with any questioins now is hard.
Good luck, post after you hear the (I know) good news!

Got an official looking letter today, from admissions, saying…Congratulations, Nicole! Your application is…completed!
Ah, I wish they would hurry it up! It was such a tease!

You know I don’t remember…they got a few of those. If you could do it on the common app, that’s what they did. I don’t remember them mentioning a date specifically. We would all like to hear soon, although FA would come later. Did you do that one?
Drew had a quick one when my son did it, but you had to use their application. He ended up knowing he got in by Christmas which was nice.

"We hope everyone had a restful Thanksgiving! Big week for students that applied Early Action & Early Decision by Nov. 1… "
Sounds promising! If anybody finds out soon, let us know!

I applied early action and can’t wait to hear. It is by far my first choice. Did they really mail out the decisions today? How do you know? I’m sooo excited/ nervous.

[Stonehill Admissions (WhyStonehill) on Twitter](x.com)
it says that ‘the first batch’ have been sent out! good luck, good luck, good luck!

If I sent everything in by November 1st but my first quarter grades,do you think I’ll get my decision letter? I sent my first quarter grades as soon as they were available but I know it was after everything else. On the website it says applicants who submitted all their materials on time. AHH I really want to find out. i LOVE stonehill.
