Stonehill, Saint Michael's, and Fairfield University

I am a white male from MA who attends a competitive private boarding School also in MA. My school does not grade students on a 4.0 scale but rather out of 100.
gpa-85.5 out of 100.
class rank-46/130
3 honors, 2
SAT-1610 (i know) but I plan on taking it again in the fall as well as the act.
sports-2 seasons of varsity baseball and 2 in football.
ec's-I have decent extracurriculars as well. (tour guide, ambassador, tutor, big brother)
I am wondering what my chances are for Stonehill, Saint Michael's, and Fairfield University are. Thanks a lot!

2 AP’s as well.

Hey there APM1310–

Jeremy here-- where in MA do you go to school? I may just be visiting it this coming fall!

It sounds like you’re getting the most out of your high school experience and on a good track! I’m going to share with you a bit of what we like to see academically from students we accept.

We like to see a solid A/B average on a student’s record as well as challenging courses. Check out our website to make sure you will have met [SMC’s High School Requirements](http://www.smcvt.edu/admission/requirements/default.asp).

As of this year, St Mike’s has gone test optional, so you wouldn’t be required to submit your test scores. We typically see 575 on the 3 tests (critical reading, writing & math). No preference is given to students who don’t submit their scores and a student doesn’t have to submit something in place of the scores.

Extra curriculars are definitely important. There are a ton of opportunities for students to get involved in clubs, activities and sports. Over 75% of our students volunteer in the community and are extremely proud of being a St Mike’s student!

Feel free to contact me directly at jbrown7@smcvt.edu or visit our [counselor page](http://www.smcvt.edu/mycounselor/default.asp) to see who will be traveling in your area! I handle the Boston metro area and the North Shore as well as the state of Maine.

To get to know St Mike’s a bit better, connect w/ St Mike’s by checking out our (http://www.youtube.com/user/saintmichaels), [Facebook page](<a href=“Facebook - log in or sign up”>Facebook - log in or sign up), & @SMCAdmissions[/url”>http://twitter.com/SMCAdmissions]@SMCAdmissions on Twitter.

I go to Tabor Academy down in Marion by the cape.
