Stony Brook Honors college - Chances?

<p>Applying for Fall 2014, can anyone tell me if I have a shot?!</p>

<p>GPA: ~95/100
All honors classes since sophomore year, only two APs! Both senior year :O (AP Calc BC and AP Chemistry)
- I applied for AP Bio and AP stat junior year but wasn't allowed to get in, my school is HUGE! I hope my guidance counselor can somehow convey that to colleges.. </p>

<p>SAT I: 2190
M: 770
CR: 710
W: 710
M+CR = 1480 </p>

<p>SAT II: Taking in November. Math II and Chemistry. Should be able to get 700+ on both. </p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
500+ hours volunteering at daycare center
100+ hours volunteering at local temple
4 years of Freestyle Football
Played varsity soccer in freshman year, discontinued after injury
2 years in Parkour Club
Member of NHS (Arista)
ACE Mentor program (senior year) - Basically you're a part of a group and you learn more about Architecture, Construction, and Engineering. </p>

<p>Major: Chemical or Biomedical engineering </p>

<p>My younger son applied to SBU last year with stats similar to yours. He’d also taken AP Calc, AP Chem and three other AP classes. He was accepted into Chem Engineering, but not the Honors College. Instead, he got into Scholars. In the end, he chose a different college, because he no longer wanted to do engineering. His brother is currently a junior at SBU and in Honors. Their stats weren’t all that different, either.</p>
