Stony brook international.

I just got accepted to stony brook and I’m an international student. Can an international student get any form of scholarship or financial aid from university or any other organizations?

From the Stonybrook website:

International Students
International students are not eligible for Federal or State aid.

The only form of aid available to an international student is a private/alternative loan. This is a loan offered through a lending institution of your choice. You must apply directly with the lender. The lender may require that you have a co-signer. Some may require that the co-signer is a permanent resident, others require US citizenship.

There are not other scholarships for internationals. I have heard of one sponsored by Americans of Ukraine heritage fir ppl from Ukraine. So maybe something like that. State schools rarely give internationals funds. Univ of Alabama does for merit, if you qualify.
