Stony Brook Scholarships?

<p>Is stony brook generous in scholarships?</p>

<p>here are my stats:</p>

<p>GPA: 3.91 (uw) 4.3 (w)</p>

<p>Rank: 8th out of 356</p>

<p>SAT: 2150 (1 time) (M:740, W:740, CR: 670)</p>

<p>APs (school has very little APs): Calc AB (5), English Lang (5)</p>

<p>Extracurricular:

Teacher's Aide</p>

<p>Clubs:
French Club (Treasurer)
Calculus Club
Green Club (Treasurer)

<p>Internship at local university for 7 weeks</p>

<p>Great Recommendation letters from everyone</p>

<p>If I apply regular decision (or whatever it's called), how much scholarship would I potentially get?</p>

<p>My brother attends stony brook (also OOS) and I believe his scholarship is 5k or 6k annually. His stats were lower than yours, (GPA ~3.6, less ec’s) so just based on that information, chances are you’ll get a generous scholarship. Sorry that I couldn’t be more specific with numbers, but I hope this helps!</p>

<p>kimmylouie – It’s impossible for us to give any concrete information about scholarships in this kind of forum, because data changes from year to year. Your best bet at this time of year is probably to use our Net Price Calculator on our Financial Aid site ([Stony</a> Brook University](<a href=“http://www.stonybrook.edu/finaid/]Stony”>Home | Financial Aid)) to get a sense of what your financial picture might look like, although even that may change as we get into next year’s aid cycle.</p>
