Stony Brook Supplement Question- please help!

I was writing my response to the Stony Brook Supplement and I noticed my essays were pretty long. My essay for the Honors college is about a page (about 680 words) but my essay for the Scholars for Medicine is about 2 pages (about 1170 words). Is there a limit for either essay? I hope there isn't, because I don't know what to cut down! If there is a limit, if I still keep it this length, will the admission officers stop reading my essay? Or will it somehow affect my chances of an admission?
Also, for the supplement essay for the honors college, it said we should "limit your topic to intellectual experiences pertinent to science, math or engineering." I wrote about how I was accepted into one high school, but made the risk to move to a different neighborhood and start with a new slate, and how that affected me. Is that okay? I talk about how my education was affected, is that sufficient?
Thanks for all your help!

It should specify if there is a length requirement. Generally, undergraduate college application essays should be succinct.

For your honors essay, I would focus on something related to the topic. You can probably tie in your current composition about a new high school in to the topic.

thanks djstony!
The thing is, I searched for almost an hour about the limit for the essay and I couldn’t find anything! So I called them up today and they told me they’re not that strict about the limit stop I might keep all of it even though it is a bit long.
Thanks for the reply again!
Hopefully I get accepted! I really want to go to Stony Brook! :)
