I'm currently attending Molloy college, I am in the nursing program and have a psychology minor. I just finished up my freshmen year, I took some summer classes so I have 41 credits. I am considering transferring to Stony Brook to study marine biology as it is my passion. I currently have a 3.46 average, I am going to actually study this semester to help bring it up. I have not been trying because I am uninterested in my major, this raises concern that a 3.46 is not good enough. Does anyone know what my chances are or if Stony Brook will consider this good? My courses consist mainly of science courses such as anatomy & physiology 1 and 2, microbiology, organic & biologocal chemistry, human growth & development, developmental psychology, and similiar courses. All my general education requirements such as US Foreign Policy & sociology I have recieved between an A- and A. In my science courses the lowest grade I recived was a B. I am not to familiar with Stony Brook admissions & appreciate any input.
