i still haven’t gotten an update on my application status
Same, I applied for Astronomy back in January. Not a very long wait, but I heard the longer the wait, the chances of being waitlisted increases. Hopefully we get something soon

My son applied 1/15 to the engineering program. He was admitted 1/29, heard 2/22 about his $4,000 merit scholarship and was notified 3/2 about admission to the honors program. He’s a full IB diploma candidate with a high gpa and 34 ACT.
Applied on 1/30. Accepted 2/13. $18,000 scholarship 2/22. Accepted into WISE program 2/23. OOS. High gpa with 32 ACT
i applied last week of december and it’s my top choice so i’m rlly hoping that waiting this long won’t lead to me being waitlisted.

Hi. My son recently received a note that he was accepted to the honors college, but it didn’t come with any information about scholarships. I thought I had read that all honors students receive merit. Does anyone know if this is true and, if so, when Stony Brook generally sends out this information? Thanks!

My S got accepted to Honors college too today . His scholarship information came in January when he got accepted to SBU. You will receive a separate letter.
How many students get offers for honors college?

@highschoolinnj - thanks! Prodded my kid into searching his email to see if he had possibly missed anything, and sure enough, there was a scholarship letter sitting there unopened from December.

Still haven’t heard back and I applied in October…Ugh…any other bio majors not hear back?

S applied for CS on Nov 5. Nothing yet. Silly.
