Yup, i did. Doubt it will do anything, im not sure about acceptance rate on waitlist, im set for somewhere else now.
It’s 28% as of fall of 2020.
After an incredible long wait, my daughter got in. Super excited.

B+ student, but strong in science. Most likely accepted due to teacher recommendation, as every teacher has commented on how determined she is. She liked Stony Brook because of their science reputation and wants to major in Chemistry.

Did everyone hear back from honors programs? I heard that you are notified of a decision through email regardless of acceptance, but have yet to receive mine.

If you are waitlisted from stony brook is there still a chance of getting into an honors program after they accept u later?

I still haven’t got a decision for Stony and I applied to the EOP program. I reached out to them and they said “Thank you for your email. Admission decisions are being released on a ongoing basis. It is recommended to continue to check your email and SBU Applicant Portal for any requests or updates. Students will get an email notification and can view a decision in their portal as soon as it is available.” Does anyone else have the same issue?
