So guys, my SOLAR portal updated and…I WAS ACCEPTED TO STONY BROOK!!! I cannot believe this and I am completely speechless. My dream has always been to attend Stony Brook and today, my dream actually came true. This is probably the best the day of my life and I just can’t even put in words how delighted and excited I am. THANK YOU GOD, MAHATMA GANDHI, AND MY CAT.
Once again, congratulations to everyone who was admitted to Stony Brook already and good luck to those who are still waiting! Everyone, keep me and everyone else updated! Thank you guys so much for your time. I LOVE YOU ALL. :+)

@sciencelover123 That may mean you were accepted to Stony Brook! That’s exactly what my SOLAR portal displayed a day before my application status changed and I found out that I was accepted to Stony Brook. Do you see any new tabs on your home page like a tab that says “For New Students”? Anyways, keep checking your SOLAR portal and it will hopefully change to an official acceptance in the next two or three days. Hold on there, pal!!!
@LOLHELPME I really hope you’re right! The thing is I have yet to see the new tabs which puzzles me because most people have the new tabs in addition to the abridged message. Since it changed on Friday at approximately 3:30 (30 minutes before admissions is closed for the day), I’m hoping that it will display the new tabs within the next week (fingers crossed). I’ll definitely keep you posted when/if I see an update!
