Hello I got into Stony Brook Engineering Program and Binghamton School of Management (which is apparently Binghamton’s strong suit). I’m having trouble deciding between the two SUNYs but I’m leaning towards Binghamton because I enjoy their college campus and life better than Stony. I’ve also heard That Binghamton academic reputation is better than Stony Brook’s. Someone offer their thoughts?
Do you want to do Engineering or Business? They are two pretty different programs. Bing SOM is very reputable and You’re right that Binghamton and SB have very different campus experiences. SB is somewhat of a commuter school. Many people go home on the weekends.
If you rather go into engineering, I would say SB because its reputation for the STEM fields is much higher than Bing’s. If you are leaning more towards business, I would definitely say Bing.
