This year’s waitlist decisions
I wonder when they will send out waitlist decisions especially because of the corona virus. Please, reply if you got waitlisted! I would like to know other people who did.
waitlisted and still haven’t heard back. The letter says June but was hoping sooner. Will prob commit to Bing. ?
I did too for fall 2020 freshmen year and they said after May 1st. Idek what to do. Hope I get in for bio major, anyone else’s?
I heard some people got accepted off the waitlist recently, which is odd because they said they won’t send decisions out till June.

I just got my acceptance to Stony Brook an hour and a half ago for biochem! They said I have to enroll in Solar by May 15 and said it will take them two days for the status to change in the portal.

Daughter got an email late morning that she’s off the waitlist and accepted for fall, bio major, have till 15th to decide. Good luck to those still waiting.
Was there a number of how many people were taken off waitlist? Waitlist acceptance rate?
There are close to 1,700 students on the waitlist I wonder how many will be accepted from that.

I’m not sure. I was waitlisted and I received the email, maybe it was only waitlisted students. You’re talking about the waitlist updates email right?

My daughter received her acceptance off the waitlist last evening. She is a biology major.
I was waitlisted and got my acceptance on May 19. I’m a psychology major!
My friend was rejected from stony brook from the start, any chance she has a possibility if getting in from an appeal? @sbuadmissions
