<p>It is now thursday and I haven't received anything from Stonybrook regarding the honors college. Does this mean that I have been rejected and will receive no scholarship money? </p>

<p>i only just got my acceptance today so perhaps the mail is still on its way out? though i would not be entirely surprised if people who should get honors do not - i know a lot of people who truly are above and beyond and were not invited to apply for geneseo honors</p>

<p>I have been awarded a presidential scholarship with an annual value of $3000 for 4 years totaling $12,000. I hope Stonybrook is still sending out honors letters…</p>

<p>I got $2500 from the Presidential Scholarship and $2000 from the Valedictorian as well. The more money you get, the more of a chance of getting into honors college; since the amount of money given is related to your academics. I heard some people got close to full tuition from the Presidential Scholarship.</p>

<p>Haha yes, this is the most I’ve ever had to wait for something. Especially because I’ve been in the college process since junior year…SO LONG.</p>
<p>I think they’re sending letters today. I got two envelopes from SBU today. First, I got a rejection for Honors College/WISE today. It came through paper mail. It said I was selected as a University Scholar. The second said that I got a Presidential Scholarship w/ full tuition & fees. I’m sort of upset but I never really planned on going to SBU anyways so it’s not that big of a deal I guess.</p>

<p>I got the honors college letter today saying that I didn’t get in there but did get in as a University something.</p>
<p>I’m a Junior in the Honors College and I know that they’ve made their decisions recently so it may just be that they have not sent them out/you have not received it through the mail.</p>
