Just kidding of course. BUT, it does amaze me how many times I have read someone has phoned USC with questions that are being answered more than once in these forums.

Ha ha. They’re already sent out.

[Acceptance letters… | Facebook](<a href=“Acceptance letters for... - University of Southern California | Facebook”>Acceptance letters for... - University of Southern California | Facebook)

USC dinos, still using snail mail when the UCs let you look/know in seconds on their portals.

^ Opening that large envelope will be a nice memory for those accepted!

I do agree that the memory of the envelope is nice, but why not use both the immediate and memorable methods? All schools I was accepted to thus far including Syracuse and UCSD among others, officially accepted me online weeks ago for the instant gratifying part, then just a few days ago I recieve their giant folders/packages for the paper acceptance which I can hold for memory. The fact that USC is one of the last schools to notify people, and do it only in such a primitive fasion where finding out progress is like using the pony express is what’s increasing the frustration for the wait.

condor is right.

Most other schools that sent acceptances to our house first posted it on their portals. Like USC, Chapman U sent the big envelope first, and we knew it was coming so waited in agony for four days…BUT that was EA, so we’ve known for some time now. This is also the first year USC has used the common ap. Must be a big technological leap for them :)

Amen to collegecondor!

Boy, December 23rd must be a blast in your homes.
