Well I can see that if you plan to go to an Ivy school you would worry tremendously. But the truth is, if you go to a public school it really doesn't matter. As long as you have a fairly decent GPA and an ACT score between 25-30 you will get a tremendous amount of financial aid.

I wanted to get a high score on my ACT, but my mother told me not to take it again. At first I was disappointed, but now I understand. It really didn't matter what my score was because I still got a ton of outside scholarships and scholarships from the university. Whenever I went to school this year, no money came out of my pockets. And I have to tell you, that was a good feeling.

So please don't stress out for you ACT test. Sometimes even though you don't get to go to the college that was your first choice, you may find that you second or third choice college is better than you thought.

This is just some advice because I remember how I was when I was taking the test. I was so stressed that I would just screw up on my english section (since it was the first section) and therefore my score would be down. I can relate to trying to get a "high score" but sooner or later you will find out that it really doesn't matter that much.

P.S. I am not saying it is okay to get a low ACT score, but it is okay to have a score in the high twenties.
