Ok I get it that everyone is freaking out becuz they want an answer. BTDT. But the fact is Delaware sends out their acceptances in the second half of March. Always has, unless you're instate or back in the days when they had ED. You might be lucky that the post office delivers yours early but maybe you won't. I wasn't. Maybe you'll be lucky and you can log on and find out you're accepted but you might not be able to even if you will be accepted because this is not their official way to let you know. All your info will come in that one package from admissions - honors, scholarships, etc.
So I tell everyone I know applying that just plan that you won't hear until APril 1st. That was when it comes sooner you'll be happy!

Don’t be a killjoy! We are having fun stressing out!

Obviously, you are right. The decision will come whenever. The anticipation, while painful, is just part of the process. And it’s fun talking to others who feel the same. If you don’t want to worry about it, just don’t open the thread!

You must be reading my mind LINYMOM! I was just about to tell the poster to stop reading the messages if it’s annoying…A lot of us come here to commiserate with each other. I like knowing we are all in the same boat with the waiting …and waiting…and waiting…We all KNOW the decisions will come when they come but it’s kinda fun talking about it with you all.

And then we can have a party together on parents weekend in the Fall…to meet and laugh about it all (before we start stressing about our younger kids!).

we need to have shirts made that say college confidential on them if we are fortunate to have our kids there and we attend parents weekend so we can all find each other!
all i can say is i am glad i have 2.5 years before this college process starts all over again with my youngest daughter…guiding twins through this process has been exhausting and we aren’t done yet!

popsicle, the website says mid-march. always has. i’ve been told mid-march since i applied in october. last year, OOS received decisions in the mail starting MARCH 10TH. that’s today’s date. the majority of people got their letters on the 14th, 15th, and 16th. so that is what we all expect and anticipate. i thought the wait was finally going to be over this time next week, and they extended it to mid to ‘late’ march. of course we’re all freaking out and annoyed and anxious. this is one of the last schools most of us are hearing from and idk about everyone else, but it’s my first choice and has been for almost two years. so yeah, i’m obviously going to vent and complain.

Geez folks, it’s not annoying to me, I am a junior and I LOVE it here and I have since my first visit. I totally know what the wait is like, I had heard from all my other choices 2 months before UD and didn’t get my letter until at least a week after the stated date. I’m just saying, make a fake later date in your head so you don’t have to stress so much but you all seem to be enjoying it! Once you’re in you can start stressing about what date you get for Delaworld and then you can stress about how late you find out your dorm and roomate! UD functions on it’s own time table and it’s always later than you expect so don’t expect it to change! See you at trabant!

yeah sorry didn’t mean to jump down your throat there haha i realize your intentions are good, i think every one is just kind of on edge with this whole thing. what do you mean what date we get for Delaworld?
