Stop Them!

The Duggars. They should be prevented from further procreation! It's just creepy!

Who exactly are the Duggars?

this crazy family in Arkansas with 18 kids. all the kids are homeschooled. the girls can’t wear pants or anything “revealing”, the don’t dance, and they “court” (all you can do before marriage is hold hands, you can’t even be alone together!).

they’re on TLC

ya, their hands are gonna grow VERY OLD from the handholding… :P

I love how one of the girls’ names is Jinger, for the sake of preserving the J’s.

I never watched the show, but aren’t the girls/guys kind of grounded into their house because they’re so isolated, like literally in the middle of nowhere. lol i love these erratic families, they amuse me :D

haha i edited it so now your post makes NO SENSE hahahahahaaa

i feel sorry for the girls. they’re never exposed to the idea that they can be something other than a nurse or a teacher or a stay at home mom. and there’s nothing we can really do (legally) to stop them.

The Duggars are crazy, that’s what makes their show so entertaining to watch

I think it’s odd that they sold out to tv. Missionary oppurtunity maybe? (If that sounds like bashing, I’m not meaning to. Their motives just interest me.)

^^^ They need money to support all of those kids!

I think we should have a kid limit like they do in China. We can’t feed all the people we have, so why produce more? If they really wanted to do good and to take care of God’s children then they should have adopted and given suffering children the chance at a decent home, instead of selfishly overbreeding. Sickening.

^ I never thought of it that way (the adoption aspect that is). That would have been a much better plan.

i plan to adopt. I’m a perfectly healthy female and i refuse to have my own children.

Oh, I think, if I have kids, I’d at least like to have one or two of my own, but adopting is up as an option most definitly.

Man, a lot of anti-parent’s rights statements on here. So they’re crazy, sure. But they have a right to raise their children as they see fit, as long as they’re not abusing the kids. And if you’ve ever watched the show, it’s pretty clear that they love their kids. I would be more concerned about single parent homes in complete poverty with children that are neglected and abused. And yet, we finally see an example of a strong, caring, supportive, and loving family on TV, and we condemn them for being different? THAT is sickening.

I don’t agree with their religious views, and certainly not with their strict parenting style. But if that works for them, then great. Their kids are incredibly straight laced and conservative, but they’re also fairly intelligent, and will most likely make a positive contribution to society (which is something you can’t say about a lot of the youth in this country). I have no business (and neither does anyone else) telling them how to live their life.

18 is a huge strain on our earth
and entirely unneccessary.
if you want that many ADOPT

^ The earth has well over 6 billion people in it. To reiterate, that’s over 6,000,000,000. I’m pretty sure it doesn’t notice 18 more.

every little bit counts, Millancad.

Really? selfishly overbreeding?

Last time I checked this is America, you know, where you have, practically, the freedom to do what you like? Yes it is a lot of children, but if those parents can raise them to contribute to society as well as anyone else, what’s the problem? Those parents do a better job than a majority of others and it looks to me like every single one of those kids are happy.

Because they could have taken that same space in their home, love in their heart and taken in unwanted and unloved children. Instead of YES selfishly overbreeding themselves. Human beings are not meant to give birth to 18 children. Naturally, we are only supposed to have a couple.

If they really wanted to please God, I’m sure he would have much rather them take in children that are suffering needlessly in foster homes instead of repeatedly having children.

These people make me sick. Truly, truly sick. And no, I don’t care who that bothers.
