Stores for Prom dresses

We will have some extra time on our trip for Greek Preview this weekend and my daughter would like to shop for her prom dress. Does anyone have any store recommendations near the school or in Huntsville (we’re flying into Huntsville)?

If you’ll be driving thru B’ham, the you can shop at The Summit
[The Summit Birmingham - Home](http://www.thesummitonline.com/birmingham/)

If you want to shop in Hunstville, then you can go to Bridge Street
http://www.bridgestreethuntsville.com/

^ Bridge Street is easy to get to from HSV airport.

or Parkway Place Mall

Thanks, m2ck!

There is a Belk, Gus Mayer and Saks at the Summit. I’m not sure you will find one at Bridge Street. In Tuscaloosa the girls go to the Bridal shops…So Sash (1653 MCFARLAND BLVD NORTH), Classy Threads (Classy Threads in located in the McFarland Mall. We are located inside the mall between T.J. Maxx and Anna’s Linens)…there’s also a Belk in the Mall and I think a David’s Bridal.

If you drive through Hoover, there is a wonderful store called Bella’s behind the Galleria. It’s near the Rave movie theatre in Patton Creek shopping area.

As you drive down from Huntsville, there is an awesome prom shop (but $$$) called Something Blue Too in Hartselle not far from I65

Are there any consignment shops for used dresses around?

True that a prom dress probably wouldn’t be found at Bridgestreet. It’s a great shopping center but not the prom dress kind of place.

Bridal shops and big stores (like Saks or Belk) at The Summit would be best.
