Storing my stuff the week before move-in..

Hey guys I was just wondering if you had advice for what I should do. I'm going to fly to Penn the day before the move-in date. My family is going to visit Penn the first week of August by car. I was thinking of bringing all my stuff that first week and storing it in storage or something of that sort. Do you know if there are better ways to handle this? Like can I leave all my stuff somewhere on campus on something? It's going to be expensive bringing all my stuff to Penn by plane. Any feedback would be helpful.

You can move in early starting on the 24th, but you are charged a fee determined by how early before August 28 you move in.

Housing and Conference Services

Looks like you're out of luck for moving in when your parents drive up with you. Did you buy all of your things yet? Because Bed Bath and Beyond has this great option called "pack and hold," where they hold all the items you request at the BB&B location closest to Penn. That should take a lot out of your suitcases and make air travel a little less costly (not to mention stressful).

there really isn't any storage place on campus, unfortunately

unless you know someone who is from around here that could take some things from you

You can try calling public storage places to see if they have something you can rent for a few weeks. Then rent a van for move-in day.
