I have earned Straight A's in my freshman year twice.
Feels great, when you see A,A,A,A. Never gets old.

wow, you made a thread to say that?
narcissism rules

i've gotten straight A's all my life....it gets pretty hackneyed after a while. i used to be anxious to get my report card in the mail, but now, there's no point of even opening the envelope. sigh...i guess 'their' right about "too much of a good thing".

^get a 'b' and we'll see how much you wish you had that 'too much of a good thing' back.
the saying is true, just not in this case.

Actually, I have a quick question about this subject. I haven't gotten straight A's in high school before until last semester. (Yay!) Usually I would get all A's and a B+. However, I am worried that colleges will look at my A's as from me being lazy and signing up for easy classes. (Which I am not. Honors Physics, Precalc etc.) What do you think?

they'll see what classes you got your A's in.

I made the mistake of taking "honors" music appreciation, as a CS/Physics major. Bad call, gentlemen. I'm lucky to have scraped a B in there... it's so sweet to get all As, though. Congrats, sir.

Pfft. I've been getting A's forever. There's one on my birth certificate; I'm that damn good.

Boy, you're arrogant.

My report card matches my blood type--A+. I thought that was amusing when I found out :)

Hate it when i earn 3 A's and a B+. There excellent grades, however the B+ ruins the perfection.

I've gotten straight A's and A+'s for all of high school, except for last semester...2nd semester of junior year. I got 2 A-'s. OMG. My first A-'s in all of high school! Are colleges going to think I'm slacking off?!? I got 5's on the AP tests for both classes...should I ask the teachers to raise my grade from an A- to an A?!?

^WHOA!!! No, you shouldn't! An A- is perfectly acceptable. The colleges will see the 5's, know that you understand the material, and just figure that the classes are difficult. Seriously... calm down.

Arrogant sarcasm?

^ i'm pretty sure he was kidding, LesOs. (but then again, you never know :/)

yeah, she was. sorry about that.

^She was?^

It never gets old. If I know I've locked 98+'s in classes, I'm excited about my report card! My actual report card for sophomore year: 98, 97, 99, 98, 98, 98, 100

BIAAAATTCH!

Good Job, but please no profanity. Can i ask what classes you took?

Will people who brag about their straight A's please be a little less arrogant? Geez, makes me feel so down every time I come here, and see these people. Looks like everybody gets A's nowadays and I'm stuck in the B category. Thanks.

BTW, I've gotten a lot of A-'s, will that hurt? My UW GPA is around 3.95, since A- and A+ are basically the same at our school.
