Straight F's (for real)

Work a little harder. If you get a few 100’s, your averages are soo low that those few hundreds would bring your grade up like crazy. You can get it to straight C’s if you try hard enough.

K here’s the only thing you can do. Fake some sort of severe psychological disorder that you’ve done some thorough research on and have your parents take you to a psychiatrist. When he/she asks you about the symptoms you’ve been experiencing, list everything you’ve learned in your research. Have the psychiatrist write an official note that you can send to OSU.

I would stage a mental breakdown and start feigning symptoms of a personality disorder. Like, just read Don Quixote and act like that. Then you can probably get a medical excuse.

Because clearly, iPacman believes that one should not own up to one’s mistakes and faking a medical reason is the better route.

I wonder if iPacman’s would want his tax preparer, roofing contractor, kid’s teachers, parent’s nurses have these same ethics.

This is ridic… if they let you stay in after failing almost every class, that’s mad unfair to the kids that got rejected from the school who are probably doing a hell of a lot better than you are right now.

all you guys need to chill…help this guy out

if you can’t, don’t post anything…you wouldn’t tell any of this stuff to his face, now would you?

"Straight F’s (for real) Not a ■■■■■ thread " In a way this is a ■■■■■ thread. Last semester of high school is the easiest time. Its short, fast, and easy. You where ■■■■■■■■ when you thought it was ok not to do anything. Talk to your teachers and ask them for extra credit or make up work. How where your grades in the last semesters? If you have A’s and B’s you should be fine. Colleges look at the final grades coming out of high school. Make sure to do good on your finals. That will help your final grade out a lot.

Ask your guidance counselor how your grades are reported. Will they just send the end of year grades? If so, are your previous two trimesters high enough to cover your sorry behind? Either way, go to each and every teacher and seriously and sincerely beg for mercy. Be honest about your lack of effort. They see it. They don’t want excuses, they need to know that YOU see it. See if you can turn in any missing work for half or partial credit. Zeros will kill you, absolutely knock you out. Some may be willing to help, others not. A great deal will depend on what kind of student you have been in the past. I would verify the ‘Just pass your English class and we won’t rescind your acceptance.’. Sounds a bit too good to be true, unless your grades are reported on the yearly basis only and they won’t see this mess.
I wish you luck and a change of attitude towards school. You don’t get second chances in college.

Bye bye college…

And yes I would tell this to his face

I got rescinded. ■■■.

Eastern Maine Community College here I come…

Well, community college is your second chance if you’re up for it.

maybe you should’ve sent them a letter telling them that your goldfish died or something :P

^ Because THAT was so much more helpful than the other posts. :P

Really OP, you should have been smarter than this. Best of luck in the future. I might quote you in the future as an example of senioritis at its worst. :P

BrettMaverick I am not surprised you got rescind since you earned all F’s, this shows the school that you obviously didn’t try to pass in anything.

With all F’s I was suprised, though with this statement did you pass English? If you didn’t then maybe that was a reason for your rescind.

well i guess since he’s already been rescinded, the issue has been resolved…and now we can comment on the aftermath :)

the OP should just look forward to CC and hopefully he can transfer to OSU later…maybe he’ll become rich and famous one day and laugh at this post haha

KAy yeah, I agree with most of the comments above, where did you place your brain!!! But another option is to TALK TO YOUR TEACHERS! I’m sure they don’t want you to fail their classes & get dropped by your college… I mean they’ve been there & done that so they can’t be that heartless right? I’d give it a try…
Or the other option - JC for 2 years then transfer.

GOODLUCK!

^Pretty, he has already been rescinded.

You’re going to need to pull straight A’s (or close to it) at community college to get back into Ohio State or any decent university. You need to prove that you were an immature senior who blew it, but saw the error of your ways and got back on track. The next admissions guy needs to know for sure that he’s getting a solid student, not a slacker.

Wait, why does he have to get straight As to get into college? You don’t need straight As to get into college from community college, although of course you can’t get straight Fs either. Colleges won’t usually see the high school transcripts, right?

The new college will want the transcript from both community college and high school. Unless he wants to transfer to a non-selective school, he will need to excel, not just pass, in order to prove he’s changed his ways.
