I was also in a terrible car accident which is the reason my grades are so low, due to numerous days out of school due to hospital stays and surgeries.

Honors College will look nice on your app to med school, that’s about it. There are some perks to the hc like getting to register for classes before everyone else after your first year. If you have any questions about the hc, let me know.

I’m not sure what you’re asking. Unfortunately, you will probably not be accepted into the honors college because of your class rank. My ACT was a 33 and my class rank was much higher than yours and I still was not invited :/.

The HC has some perks, but it’s not a huge loss if you don’t get in.

Thanks! I mean if I have a killer essay due to the crash kind of stuff, do you think I might have a chance at HC?

No, you’re in the 26% percentile. HC requires 5%.

Alright I got you. Thanks!
