<p>Probably the way they treat home equity.</p>
<p>FAFSA schools don't count it at all.</p>
<p>Profile schools count it, some more than others. Columbia caps home value at 2.4 times annual income (and then deducts mortgage to get equity value). Penn doesn't cap home value, as far as I know.</p>
