Strange Email from Admissions

I just received an email from my local admissions officer at Yale, and he stated that he was missing my parent information and test scores. I submitted the common app online, so how is this possible? Has this happened to anyone else? He also addressed me by an entirely different first name.
Thanks for any advice.

maybe he was stress out and mailed it to you by mistake. send him a reply asking what he means. if it was you then just do what he asks. Dont worry either way.

lol don't worry they sent me a wrong email as well - they must be verryy tired i mean 4000+ apps in like less than a month! can't b a party over there

thanks for the help!

I know, I feel bad for those admissions officers...their eyes must be popping out of their heads at this point!

yea, but at the end of the day they know that some of the applicants are gonna be future presidents, dictators, etc.

I aspire to be a dictator some day.

That dictator thing is classic!

:D

well it's true.

so many african dictators are from harvard or penn or yale or whatever

That's because they're the most educated and if you're gonna leave a third world country to go to college, you're probably not leaving to go to Devry.
