strange question

I have a strange question. When you send your toefl or sat scores report to a university, do they see your picture, which was taken at the test day? Does anyone know?

No, but they can, if they want (although I can’t think of any reason they would do that :P)

The adcoms require official score reports to cross-check your reported scores, not to see your photo. In Columbia’s website they explain how the university gets permission to simply ‘view’ your scores when you pay CB.

Who knows, maybe they even have automatic score checker to cross-check your submitted details.

If I may, why do you ask?

thank you :). Do you know if there is the same policy for ETS? I received my toefl score report from ETS today and I look horrible on the picture they took of me on test day. I wish admission staff or anyone did not see me like that. That’s why I was asking…On my SAT I look fine, so I kinda don’t care

Hahahahhahaah!

I’m 100% sure the adcoms won’t reject you for having messy hair on a test day :stuck_out_tongue: (unless by ‘horrible’ you mean you look drunk or high, it’s totally fine).

Don’t worry, they won’t look at you. And even if they do, they’ll just laugh it off; they have many other criteria to judge a student on.

I look on the score report photo like I was high or drunk  But more worse that I look like 300 pounds woman lol. I have been doing professional ballet for 15 years, so I can not afford myself to look like that , admission committee will start to doubt about my choreographical background and my awards X_X

In the UK there is an industry where the foreign language etc test testers are taken by a completely different person to the applicant.

I’d assume any photo submitted to take a test will be sent on to the schools with the report. As long as all the photos are of the same person, I don’t think colleges will care what that person looks like.

@Alfonsia I’m not from the UK. I took my TOEFL and SAT in the US by myself 2 times each test. I don’t do something like that.

I called ETS and they said yes my picture will be on the score report : D
