On practice tests, I was scoring around 740+M, 720+W, and 660+CR. But on my SAT, I only received 640M, 670W, and 630CR. I expected to receive a low CR score, but the M and W scores surprised me. Also, I remember answering all the math questions (except for 1 or 2) easily and same for the writing sections. I can't do anything about it until the detailed score reports come out on Dec 29, but any advice?

You probably just missed little details in the M section, and W section is just a pain in the butt. Just wait it out I guess.

if only i could get my CR above 600, (550…)

don’t worry about it. i was in the same situation with the scores with the blue book. i got the EXACT scores on my first SAT (640m 630cr 670w) and was pretty surprised, expecting more in math and writing. i retook it, though, without further practice and got a 710m 690cr 700w. once again, i thought i did better in math and writing but i just decided to stick with those scores.

My friend was so confident that he would get a 700+ on the December math section easily and he got a 660. 1 question wrong or omitted can give a 780 or even a 770. I’d imagine that 3-4 wrong can possibly get you around 700 or even lower. So you probably fell for a couple of traps and some double traps and those 2 omitted held you down. I’m going to ask my friend for the December Test when he gets it and see how I would have done. The more practice you do before a test, you’ll become more aware of falling into those traps. IF you do that the week before, then your mind will definitely be aware of these traps on test day. If you don’t do practice tests for a while before a test and just do studying, then you won’t be as aware of these traps.
