Strange wording on WSU's personal statement directions

“Limit your response to 750 words for both questions (equivalent to a two-page double-spaced document using 8.5” x 11" paper)."

Does that mean each essay needs to be 750 words, or both essays combined need to be 750 words?

I think I’m going to E-Mail them, but if anybody knows, that would help!

<p>The paper application that WSU has says that the 750 words is the limit for "both questions together" and thus it means they really want no more than 750 words total.</p>
