strange...

I have just received the following message by e-mail from the dean of admission:

We are aware that you began an application, on The Common Application or the Brandeis Application Online before our deadline, therefore we have extended the time you have to submit it.

If you submit your application by January 25th we will process your file without any penalty.

We’re looking forward to reviewing your application.

The problem is that I submitted my application on the 15th (the deadline) and the status on CA is “submitted”. Then again, there must be a problem since I don’t appear on a list or something. Hm…Should I call them and check to see if everything is ok?

Strangely, this e-mail does not say “If you have already submitted the application, ignore this e-mail”

Andreeab,

If you want, you can call our office at 781-736-3500 or send me a message with your name, DOB, etc. and we can look into your file and make sure we have everything ok. It's possible that your application status just hadn't been updated in the system by the time of that e-mail.

Sincerely,
