Strategy for studying The Blue Book

Hello,

I did read pinned threads on the SAT prep and also Xiggis prep strategy, but one thing that I cannot find is a strategy on how to utilize the Blue Book the best? Here is my case:

Sophomore, not very motivated, but still understands the importance of SAT

Got the Blue Book - now what? Jump straight to the tests? Read page by page? Any advice is appreciated!

Did you miss the part that described how to cut the tests into smaller sections? The X-Acto knife and folder suggestion? And a few other suggestions!

To answer your question, while there might a little benefit in checking the initial pages, the value of the Blue Book is almost entirely in the official tests. The Blue Book is the direct opposite of books such as the Black Book, and other “prep” books which have utterly useless tests but (in some cases) good strategies.
