You have used the process of elimination and all the remaining choices "seem" like the correct answer to you (let's say you're now down to two choices - a 50-50 chance to get the right answer), do you:

a.) Randomly select a letter?
b.) Select the letter which you have picked X amount of times during the test?
c.) ???

EDIT: Mods, I meant to post this in the ACT sub-forum. :/

If it's at the end of the test, I'll count how many of each letter I already put (how many A answers, B, etc.) Apparently well-written tests should have roughly the same number As, Bs, etc. so if I need to guess, I'll pick the letter which has shown up the least so far.

if you have it down to two answer choices pick the one you think is the best. if you have no idea at all, omit it. i don't think looking at how many As and Bs you have filled in is a good strategy because chances are you got some of those questions wrong.

.. oh wait i just realized you meant the ACT. just pick the answer you think is right since guessing can't hurt you.
