Also, I see that your D will complete AP Calc this spring. The Math 2C SATII covers concepts through pre-calculus only. So your D is actually ready to take that one now – with some review. My son took Math 2C while he was taking AP Calc BC, and he realized that some of the pre-calc material had rusted. A couple of hours with a review book and a few practice tests was all he needed.

I realize that she won’t need to take more than 3 SATII’s just listed her classes to gain any advice on which to take. I’ll leave it up to her as to whether she wants to take 2 or 3. My guess is she’ll elect to take 3 - Lit, Bio or Chem and math (need to look at levels relative to her calc AB curriculum). And I agree that it would be worth sending to some schools who don’t require them with ACT if they’re really good cause it can’t hurt and anything that might increase scholarships are a good thing. She wants to study genetics so I don’t think there are usually specific requirements.

Could she switch the SAT to the math II subject test? That would get one out of the way. Agree with wjb about the a practice test and a bit of review - my son needed it for trig bits.

The chemistry test is difficult, and should be taken when the material is fresh. If the hs regularly generate 4’s and 5’s in its AP Chem courses, she should be in good shape. If not, a practice test wouldn’t hurt. If she took chemistry honors before the AP, she could do the May date.

One more suggestion. If possible, try not to schedule anything for the last possible date. A bad cold, or a bad day might require a retake - and you want to make sure you have it. Also, if all or most of the tests are done before senior year, that’s one less piece of stress for all of you!

I second (third?) the idea of changing the registration from SAT I to SAT II Math Level 2 (that’s pre-calc level). This way she will only have to take two SAT II’s in May or June; and Marian’s plan would work (she will not have to show SAT I in the case it will be worse that ACT). She still has time to brush up her Math (plenty of online practice tests to pinpoint weak areas, if any).
